My grandmother the winter of 38. Their house had burned down that fall and my grandparents and their 9 kids lived in their summer kitchen that winter as they rebuilt the house.

Picture of my grandparents on their 50th wedding anniversary. My grandfather suffered from dementia, shortly after their anniversary party he told my grandmother she was good looking and could find a husband. Sad business, dementia.
